A Turning Point May Be As Bright As It Can Be

So, unbelievable as it is, my plans and my future has turned another direction. As many of you may know from my previous posts, I love history and love teaching history to my students; however, there has been a turn of events that have me end up teaching math this upcoming school year. Although I see this as a new challenge for me, I am looking forward to another wonderful experience. The sudden stop in my heartbeat when I accepted the job had slowly transition to a hopeful and thankful feeling as I approach closer to this new journey.

And so here I leave you a quote by Terry Pratchett from the novel, “A Hat Full of Sky”:

“Why do you go away? So that you can come back. So that you can see the place you came from with new eyes and extra colors. And the people there see you differently, too. Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving.”

  4. I got very excited about the Terry Pratchett quote, my all time favorite is “Light thinks it travels faster than anything but it is wrong. No matter how fast light travels, it finds the darkness has always got there first, and is waiting for it.” Many think it has a negative meaning, but I just like it for what it is!
